The Processes Handler is monitoring the MS Word and Excel Processes. It is extremely important that the bogus processes are ended when you create the Data Source and when the output is created. The bogus process is not associated with any document but is allocated in the memory. When that happen the unexpected results or improperly processed output can affect badly you work. It is also metter that you close the documents that are not important in the process. For that purpose anytime you load the Source Manager the [Processes Window] will appear if the application spot the Word or/and Excel services. The processes that are associated with the documents or the workbooks will initiate the message with the black characters and the bogus processes with the red ones. The processes can generate maximum four messages on the window - two in black and two in red characters for each MS Office application.
The processes with associated documents can have more the one document for each process. If there are multiple processes the messages will inform you about it as below:
The ending of the services is a matter
of few clicks. First you have to check the checkbox beside the message that is related to the process which you want to end. Next you need to select the [End Selected Process(s)] option and click OK
The sample below is showing the steps for the bogus Excel process but the procedure is identical for each process:
When you are trying to end the process with associated document the Bulk mail for Acomba is activating the message as below:
It is to prevent any lost in the document or the workbook because the process is not saving the file that is removing. If you decided that you want to close the files manually click "No" button and the process ending will be closed otherwise proceed with button "Yes"
